Our Role In Belchertown
The Belchertown Historical Commission is responsible for community-wide historic preservation planning. As part of town government we advise elected officials and other boards on historic preservation issues. Projects that come before us can include; the re-use of municipally owned historic buildings, master planning or preservation of historic landscapes.
Taking Action
We are committed to saving our past for our future. Belchertown’s people, organizations and buildings have stories to share with all of us.
It is crucial we document them before they are lost to the passing of time.

Our meetings are held at the Town Hall at 7:00 pm on the fourth Tuesday each month.
